³⁰ Gideon had seventy sons, who were his direct descendants from his own body, because he had many wives. ³¹ Also his concubine at Shechem bore him a son, and he named him Abimelek.^[a]

³² Finally Gideon son of Joash died at a good old age, and he was buried in the tomb of his father Joash, in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
